Xavier Bosch

Xavier is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an MBA from Strathclyde University. Throughout his long business career he has always been involved in youth work whenever time allowed. His good luck (he'll be the first one to admit it!) in the business professional work allows him now to be totally focused on youth work which is where his heart has always been. He is also the founder and former CEO of ReachOut, a mentoring charity promoting similar ends to Citywise.

Luke Wilkinson

Luke has been involved in youthwork in different guises for over 10 years, most recently as Youth Pastor at St. John's Hampton Wick, an Anglican church in SW London. His varied career has also seen him managing a community arts cafe, researching for a think tank, directing a theatre company and overseeing the modernisation of a Grade II listed building. Dave Reynolds

Dave has spent much of the last 10 years as a volunteer youth worker, most recently at Trent Vineyard Church in Nottingham. Having moved to Manchester in summer 2016, he decided to leave his career in the financial services to pursue his passion for working with young people. If Dave isn’t chewing your ear off about sport, he will probably be showing you pictures and/or videos of one of his three nieces!

Greta Cydzikaitė

Greta is a recent graduate of Psychology and Music from the University of Glasgow. Mentoring and working with young people has always been one of her passions, and she has been doing it for over 5 years now. When Greta moved from Lithuania to study in Scotland, she thought she had been accepted to Hogwarts! The highlands and ceilidhs have spread their charms and she has no plans to leave.

Lorna Colter

Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer

Lorna is a trained HCPC-registered Dramatherapist. She has previously worked for charities supporting children with autism and other learning difficulties, and most recently was Home-School Link worker for a primary school in London. She also works as a freelance trainer for national child-counselling charity Place2Be. Lorna is piloting a Citywise programme with Looked After Children in Salford. Lorna should be contacted regarding any safeguarding concerns, but these should also be reported through the project leader in any of our partner schools.

Charlotte Campbell

Curriculum Coordinator

Charlotte is passionate about both teaching and mentoring. She has been working with young people for the past 6 years in various capacities, such as tutoring, working as a teaching assistant and running a youth group. She is currently in her final year studying English Language and French at the University of Manchester. Charlotte has oversight of our Primary and Secondary curriculum and is a project leader in Manchester.

Davie Nalikata

Davie moved to Manchester from Malawi some 13 years ago swapping the tropical heat for Manchester’s lovely weather. He is currently working towards Chartered status in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and he is also an International Business Management graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University. Davie has a passion for youth and community development and has been involved at various levels in community empowerment initiatives in South Manchester. In his spare time, he runs a parent’s support group for Children born with Thumb hypoplasia (congenital abnormalities of the thumb).

Yodit Araya

Cleaning Manager: Manchester

Yodit moved to the UK 9 years ago from Eritrea, where she used to be a kindergarten worker. She is married with 4 children.

Warren Kwan

Warren is currently studing for a degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Manchester, and is the Volunteer Experience Officer looking after all our Manchester volunteers. He is from Hong Kong and is passionate about enhancing the whole journey volunteers undergo during their time with Citywise. Warren is also a project leader, and looks after our fundraising partnership with Manchester City FC. Don’t hesitate to get in touch about anything to do with volunteering at Citywise.

Hana Bútorová

VEO: Glasgow

Hana is a final-year psychology student at Glasgow University with a passion for education and child psychology. She is the Volunteer Experience Officer for all Glasgow volunteers. Hana has been volunteering at camps, youth groups and schools for over five years, both in Slovakia, where she is from, and in Scotland. She likes to spend her days singing and is a strong believer in the International Chocolate Day.

Kika Ignácio

Project Leader: Manchester

Kika is a 2nd year student at The University of Manchester studying Physics with Astrophysics. Having done youth work in the past, and having volunteered with Citywise last year, she is a firm believer in mentoring young people to develop character and virtue. Kika is originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and what she misses the most about home must be the sunny weather!

Patrik Pauliny

Patrik is all about sports. Having played football competitively for 8 years, he loves to kick about casually, have a good laugh but also a deep talk. He is an apple enthusiast, who builds robots as a part of his degree at Glasgow Uni. He has rich experience with leading week-long summer camps and a junior field hockey team.
