Xavier Bosch

Xavier is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an MBA from Strathclyde University. Throughout his long business career he has always been involved in youth work whenever time allowed. His good luck (he'll be the first one to admit it!) in the business professional work allows him now to be totally focused on youth work which is where his heart has always been. He is also the founder and former CEO of ReachOut, a mentoring charity promoting similar ends to Citywise.

Luke Wilkinson

Luke has been involved in youthwork in different guises for over 10 years, most recently as Youth Pastor at St. John's Hampton Wick, an Anglican church in SW London. His varied career has also seen him managing a community arts cafe, researching for a think tank, directing a theatre company and overseeing the modernisation of a Grade II listed building. He moved to Manchester with his family in 2015 having been told the weather was better up North...

Dave Reynolds

Dave has spent much of the last 10 years as a volunteer youth worker, most recently at Trent Vineyard Church in Nottingham. Having moved to Manchester in summer 2016, he decided to leave his career in the financial services to pursue his passion for working with young people. If Dave isn’t chewing your ear off about sport, he will probably be showing you pictures and/or videos of one of his four nieces!

Greta Cydzikaitė

Greta is a recent graduate of Psychology and Music from the University of Glasgow. Mentoring and working with young people has always been one of her passions, and she has been doing it for over 5 years now. When Greta moved from Lithuania to study in Scotland, she thought she had been accepted to Hogwarts! The highlands and ceilidhs have spread their charms and she has no plans to leave.

Lorna Colter

Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer

Lorna is a trained HCPC-registered Dramatherapist. She has previously worked for charities supporting children with autism and other learning difficulties, and most recently was Home-School Link worker for a primary school in London. She also works as a freelance trainer for national child-counselling charity Place2Be. Lorna is piloting a Citywise programme with Looked After Children in Salford. Lorna should be contacted regarding any safeguarding concerns, but these should also be reported through the project leader in any of our partner schools.

Hana Bútorová

Content Development Manager

Hana is a psychology graduate from Glasgow University with a passion for education and child psychology. She is the Content Development Manager and has responsibility for research and development to continually improve the standard of our work with young people. Hana has been volunteering at camps, youth groups and schools for over five years, both in Slovakia, where she is from, and in Scotland. She likes to spend her days singing and is a strong believer in the International Chocolate Day.

Dovile Blindaruk-Vile

Project Leader: Glasgow

Dovile is one bubbly Psychology graduate currently pursuing another degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She loves working with young people and has been volunteering with various children and youth organisations for as long as she can remember. Dovile strongly believes that everyone can have a happier, more flourishing life and there are many ways of achieving that. Her personal favourite is Friday night roller disco!

Kika Inácio

Project Leader: Manchester

Kika is a 2nd year student at The University of Manchester studying Physics with Astrophysics. Having done youth work in the past, and having volunteered with Citywise last year, she is a firm believer in mentoring young people to develop character and virtue. Kika is originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and what she misses the most about home must be the sunny weather!

Yodit moved to the UK 9 years ago from Eritrea, where she used to be a kindergarten worker. She is married with 4 children.

Naomi Woodcock

As a recent Master’s graduate, Naomi has spent the last five years either studying or working internationally for charities which seek to reduce the marginalisation of children and young people. Most recently, she worked as a personal assistant and programme coordinator in India, and now as Citywise’s Fundraising and Communications Manager! Naomi has quickly fallen in love with Manchester's quirky charm and is a firm believer that a day without peppermint tea and peanut butter is a day wasted.
