Part-Time Project Leader | Glasgow (1 day p/w)

Based in Glasgow, 7 hours a week worked on a Wednesday. Deadline for applications: 5pm on 22nd July 2022. Interviews will be arranged in the weeks following the deadline.

About the Role:

The part-time project leader will lead one of our school mentoring projects one afternoon a week. As well as this, the part-time project leader would be responsible for managing the logistics around the project such as coordinating with volunteers in their group both in person and online, planning and preparing resources, and communicating with school staff.

About You:

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a warm, positive attitude and lots of creativity and initiative! Experience of working with children is essential. We welcome candidates from any relevant disciplinary background (e.g. education, sociology, psychology, youth work, social work).

The successful candidate will be experienced in working flexibly as part of a team, willing to learn from colleagues as well as share wisdom and offer support to others. You must be IT literate, have excellent communication and organisation skills, and be able to adapt well to situational changes. 

In the initial stages of this appointment process we will give priority to those who have previously volunteered on Citywise projects. If no suitable appointment is made, we will then consider other applications. We will communicate in a timely fashion with all candidates throughout the process.
