Spring Family Fun
On Saturday 27th April 2019 we hosted our first Spring Family Fun event, and were delighted to welcome 20 local families to our Citywise Centre in Manchester! It was a massive success despite the seasonal weather, with lots of bouncing on the bouncy castle, baking chocolatey goodies, making junk kites and getting creative in the Craft Corner!
Throughout the morning families had to complete 6 activities to collect pieces of an Easter Egg puzzle. Once they had collected their pieces and assembled them they were able to trade them for a chocolatey prize. Children were able to have their faces painted in lots of colourful ways; pirates, butterflies, rainbows! They could get creative in the craft corner making a spring-themed craft or make a kite out of recycled materials. We had Lego challenges like building a model using only one hand or only out of red bricks, and then we encouraged the kids to make some lunch and drinks for their families. To top it off we had a bouncy castle inflated in the hall!
