I’ve been volunteering once a week with Year 7 girls with citywise this year and would love to raise money so they can continue their amazing work!
I would love it if you could sponsor me, any amount will go towards the summer projects to give young people in Manchester free access to a holiday club. My target is £250 so every little really does help!
I haven’t run this far ever but I’ve been training with a friend and it’s been really good! I (almost, kind of) love running!

We’re raising funds for the Citywise ‘Heroes Academy’ summer projects. The money raised at last year’s Great Manchester Run gave 120 young people access to the free holiday club. The play-based curriculum is designed to support their transition from primary to secondary school: learning in disguise as fun! We use the theme of superheroes to help young people discover what it takes to become an everyday hero. #thecityneedsheroes – could you be one?
