Supporting your child
Family is very important to us
We’ve spoken with a lot of parents, and know it can be hard to know where to start when it comes to developing your child’s character. We aim to make it easier.
Engaging parents in their children’s character growth journey ensures that the impact of a Citywise programme endures throughout a child’s life. Partnering with parents as they raise caring, confident children means that entire families reap the benefits too!

If your child is enrolled in one of our programmes
We’ll always look for ways to help you continue the character conversation they’re having with us, at home. We may send home resources, links to a helpful blog, or videos you can engage with together. We will probably also invite you to join in too, come to see a show, or meet their Mentor and Project Leader.
Looking for extra support to develop your child’s character?
Great, that’s what we’re here for. If your child isn’t on one of our projects you can keep an eye on the Families area of our blog for regular ways to engage with your child’s journey. Whether that’s helping them grow in confidence, set goals, consider others, make friends, or overcome a challenge by boosting their resilience. Our Youtube channel has some helpful videos you can do with your child, and see our little shop where there are resources you can get sent home!
