St Mungo’s Primary School Heroes Academy Summer Holiday Project

Citywise and St Mungo’s are excited to offer a 1-week summer holiday project to help children grow in confidence, refresh literacy and numeracy skills, grow in their awareness of character, develop their positive character strengths and have fun with their friends.

This project is open to pupils from St. Mungo’s Primary School who have just finished P4, P5, P6, or P7. 

The theme of our Summer Project this year is Heroes. Throughout the week, we will:

• Help your child to learn about important strengths or ‘super powers’ (resilience, fairness, self-control and good judgement) that anybody can develop to become an ‘everyday hero’ and be the best they can be
• Spend time every day in fun interactive English and Maths lessons
• Play games, do sports, drama, arts and crafts and dance activities

This is a full time project and will take place from Monday to Friday. It provides an opportunity for your child to make friends and take part in learning activities through fun lessons.  

When?       16th July to 20^th July 2018, 9.30 am to 2.30 pm
Where?      St Mungo’s Primary School, 45 Parson St, Glasgow G4 0PX

The cost for the full project is £25.00 (£5 per child per day) but this will be offered for free for children eligible for free school meals. You can include payment by cheque, made payable to ‘Citywise Mentoring Ltd’ in advance or pay in cash on the first day of the project.
